Paramasivam

Paramasivam creates impressive copper sculptures that reflect a life lived in the U.S. and India. He spent the first 45 years of his life in India and now lives on Vashon Island near Seattle with his wife, storyteller Cathy Spagnoli, and their great son, Manu, in a house they built themselves. He is a founder member of Cholamandal, an Indian artists' community south of Chennai in India, and goes there often as well.

When he isn't sculpting or housebuilding, he gives exciting folk toy workshops, cooks Indian feasts, and does elegant line drawings. Take a look at his creations, call to order a copper piece or an active workshop, enjoy.

This site was created in February, 2004, using many excellent photographs by Niranjan Benegal. Please contact Paramasivam for details on materials covered, or to use any images or content. Copyright 2004 Paramasivam.
